Hey hey,

Happy Thursday Vibe Marketer,

Something is happening inside the vibe marketer’s community that I need to talk about.

The best Vibe Marketers I know are all quietly building the same thing. Systems. Agents. Loops that run without them. They're not just creating content anymore — they're engineering outcomes.

There's a name for what they're doing. Marketing engineering. And it's the skill set I think every Vibe Marketer needs to build next.

The best Vibe Marketers I know are quietly adding the same skill

As a Vibe Marketer you already move fast test ideas, launch campaigns, iterate in real time with AI. That instinct is your edge.

Marketing engineering is what you build on top of that.

The systems that make your speed compound. The loops that keep running after you've moved on. The difference between a campaign that works once and a machine that works forever.

Marketing Engineering

How they work together

Practice of using AI to execute marketing at speed — testing ideas, launching campaigns, generating content, and iterating in real time without the traditional overhead of large teams or long timelines. Coined by Greg Isenberg and Boring Marketer it's the marketing equivalent of vibe coding where instinct, AI and fast execution replace slow, process-heavy workflows. One marketer with AI can now do what used to take a team of ten.

Practice of building systems, agents and automations that run marketing workflows end-to-end — without manual
intervention. It's not about replacing the marketer. It's about the marketer owning the full loop: the strategy, the build, the data, and the iteration. A marketing engineer doesn't just run campaigns, they build the infrastructure that runs campaigns, learns from them, and improves
without being restarted.

Vibe marketing gives you the speed to find what works. Marketing engineering gives you the systems to scale what works. One without the other has a ceiling vibe marketing without systems means rebuilding from scratch every time; marketing engineering without vibe means slow, over-engineered outputs. Together they compound. You move fast, you build deep, and the machine keeps running.

In short, the Vibe Marketer who builds systems is the most powerful and resourceful person in the room right now.

Why every vibe marketer needs this skill next?

I know because I lived it.

Once I started moving fast with AI launching, testing, iterating something clicked. The campaigns were working. The ideas were shipping. And then I started asking: what if this didn't stop when I stopped?

That's the question that led me to marketing engineering.

  • You spot a report being pulled manually every week - you automate it

  • You find yourself rebuilding the same campaign brief from scratch - you templatize it

  • You wait two weeks for a landing page change - you learn to do it yourself

  • You notice a competitor moved on pricing and nobody caught it - you build a monitor

  • You realize your best-performing content isn't being repurposed - you build a system that does it

  • You see data sitting in a dashboard nobody checks - you wire it to where decisions actually happen

And as a Vibe Marketer who vibes with AI, I never want to do the same thing twice. So, I always document my process and turn it into a system.

For example, I built a landing page, tested three variants, read the data, rewrote the copy, and pushed it live.

Then I took what worked and built a system around it. A conversion funnel with agents that test, measure and flag what needs fixing. The funnel gets sharper every week.

That's when everything started to compound into revenue streams and capabilities that didn't exist before.

Resulting in systems that learn. Signals that surface without me hunting for them.

That's marketing engineering.

And here's why it hits differently when you're already a Vibe Marketer:

Your foundation is domain expertise - years of knowing your audience, your market, what works and what doesn't. Irreplaceable. AI can't replicate it.

Your edge is vibe marketing - you already move fast, test in real time, launch in hours not weeks.

Your multiplier is marketing engineering - systems that capture what works and keep running it. Loops that improve without you.

Each layer multiplies the one before. Add all three and you become the Vibe Marketer your domain has been waiting for.

How do you prepare for this shift?

Most marketers know what they want to build. What's missing is knowing where to start.

This is what I call the SHIFT Framework your marketing engineering starter map. Five questions. One system to start with.

S — See the lights-on work
Look at your most recurring task. Write every step. Which ones don't need your brain? That's where you start. Most marketing workflows are 80% lights-on work steps that don't need your expertise. Marketing engineering makes the 80% invisible so your energy goes to the 20% that actually moves the needle.

H — Hunt the right problem
Don't automate the symptom. Find the real problem underneath. "This takes too long" is a symptom. "We're losing pipeline because intel is always stale" is the problem worth solving.

I — Invent the output first
Before touching any tool what does the finished system deliver? To who? Where? Work backwards from that. Every decision upstream flows from this.

F — Fire it — one node, one job
Don't build everything at once. Build the first step. Ship it. Trust it. Then add the next.

T — Trust the threshold
Your domain expertise decides what's signal and what's noise. Not every alert deserves attention. Every noisy alert depletes trust in your system and an ignored system is a broken one. Set the threshold before you ship.

Pro tip: Take this straight to Claude, ChatGPT, or any LLM of your choice. Fill in the blanks with AI right away.

You don't need to know how to build yet you just need to know what questions to ask and what good looks like. If you're a Vibe Marketer with domain expertise, AI doesn't replace that. It multiplies it.

#1 From brand assets to full product in hours — Nuno Duarte walks through how he used GitHub + Claude Design + Claude Code to go from raw brand files to a working digital product. Starting with a messy Canva file (values, colors, logos, fonts, moodboards), he structured everything into a clean system, pushed it to GitHub and used Claude Design to generate a full design system. From there, Claude Code handled the build, shipping a social media kit, style system and even an online store…

#2 Rebuilding a 550-page site in days - Vhee Khu used my local domination SEO blueprint + Claude Code agents to rebuild a construction website from zero visibility to 550+ pages in under a week. Starting from a basic Wix site, he scaled service, location, and blog pages in parallel, layered in competitor intelligence, and optimized for both Google and AI search (AEO). Here’s his case study…

#3 Turning daily SEO work into reusable skills - Vibin Babuurajan shows how his team took 10+ SEO tasks they used to do manually like BOFU keyword research, trend tracking, keyword cannibalization checks, technical audits, and full website audits and rebuilt them into repeatable skills. Work that used to take hours each day now runs in minutes, turning manual SEO execution into a faster, more scalable system.

#4 Fixing AI design drift with Google Stitch - Chris Latham breaks down how he turned inconsistent AI landing page builds into a repeatable branded system. Instead of dealing with off-brand colors, mismatched fonts, and forms that ruined the design, he used Google Stitch to generate a reusable brand guide from his existing site, then combined it with Claude Code and a frontend design skill to build new pages that matched the rest of his ecosystem. He also solved the form problem with HighLevel external tracking, added Turso as a backup for every lead, set up instant notifications, and shipped through GitHub and Cloudflare Pages.
